Terminology, systems and features

Campaign (order hall, war, covenant)	Main Scenario Quest (MSQ). These quests are even more important than in WoW.
Class	Job, specifically Disciples of Magic & War jobs (there are also classes, which are predecessors to jobs, and work in much the same way)
Dungeon finder	Duty finder (provides more functionality than just dungeons)
Group	Light party
Guild	Free Company
Tradeskill	Disciples of the Hand & Land jobs
Transmogrification	Glamour

Resource	Description
Dictionary of Icons	FFXIV is an icon-heavy game, moreso than WoW. This makes it easy to know what something is at a glance, but can be overwhelming at first. This useful wiki page lists the most common icons and tells you what they mean.
FFXIV Housing	While WoW has no housing, Final Fantasy XIV does, and this is an excellent resource to use for this.

Addons

Final Fantasy XIV does not have support for addons. The default UI is a lot more customizable than the default WoW UI, however, and there are websites that can compensate for some of the missing functionality. The UI Guide on the Lodestone is a good starting point for learning how to customize your UI.

Bartender	Not needed, the default UI provides equivalent functionality
GTFO	FFXIV is a lot better at telegraphing where you really shouldn't stand, so pay attention to telegraphs
